Let Me Introduce Myself!

Where I’ve Been

I have nearly 15 years experience working for small businesses, both in-house and freelancing, with a BFA in Visual Communication and BFA in Fiber Arts. My experience has allowed me to be deeply immersed in the brands I’ve supported, and I have stayed with each company or client for many years. My positions have also given me the opportunity to develop a variety of skill sets outside of a traditional art director and graphic designer role. Not only do I update content on a website, but I have been a part of the data structure and workflow with the company’s backend systems. When I design a marketing email, I also can build and send to difference segmentation groups, analyze performance, and provide strategy recommendations. I jump in to learn new programs, improve creative processes, and teach others.

How I Add Value

As an experienced creative leader, my curiosity and passion to make things better continually drives me to explore opportunities for growth and improvement – whether that be a user’s experience on a website, in a story to be told in an omnichannel marketing campaign, or in my team’s creative process to work more efficiently. I listen, empathize, research, present, provide feedback…all allowing me to engage deeply with a problem to be solved or story to be told. My ability to think both creatively and analytically, along with my meticulous eye for detail, makes me a strong asset to any collaborative team.

On a Personal Note

My husband, Aaron, and I have two girls, Anna and Raelynn. Above all, I value experiences and quality time with my family whether we’re exploring outdoors or attending any number of church activities. I’m passionate about health and nutrition, and love cooking, gardening, sewing, and yoga when time allows. While I have high energy and ambitious ideas, I’m an INFJ that also needs time and space to reflect and re-charge.
